Xbalanque derives its name from the mayan heritage of honduras. Mayan artifacts are still found on the island and reminds us of another culture. Xbalanque was a mayan hero twin God who conquered the adversities of the underworld and arose with his twin brother, Hunaphu, to become the moon and the sun.
